Mobile Application: Managing Contents

This message provides instructions on managing content for your mobile app after it has been published and marked as "Active" on the App Store.

When you order a mobile app, it comes with default features and content that serve as examples. It is recommended to let MMS Staff handle the app content until after the app has been published by Apple. Apple has strict guidelines for app approval, so it's best to ensure compliance before making content changes.

Accessing the Mobile App Manager:

Navigate to the Mobile App Manager page within the system.

Using the App Builder:

Within the Mobile App Manager, click on "App Builder" to access the content management interface. The App Builder displays a list of your app's current content, including pages, features, categories, links, and spacers (elements within the menu).

Modifying App Content:
  • Adding New Content: Utilize the "Add New" option located at the designated area (usually top right) to choose and add the desired content type (page, feature, etc.).
  • Editing Existing Content: Click the "Pencil" icon next to the specific content you wish to modify. This will allow you to edit its details.
  • Removing Content: To remove content, click the red "X" icon associated with the item. Confirm the deletion if prompted.
  • Reordering Menu Items: Change the position of content within the menu by clicking the up and down arrow icons next to the desired item.

Saving Changes:

After making your modifications, ensure you save the changes according to the instructions provided on the App Builder page. This will update your live app with the adjusted content.

Additional Notes: When initially launched, the app includes sample content. MMS Staff manages this content until app publication to ensure compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines.
