How to Pend New Member registrations?

Chambers can configure an approval process for new members who register online. This places them in a pending status until an administrator reviews and approves their membership.


  1. Navigate to the Configuration section within your chamber's website.

  2. Click on the "New Member Registration" option.

  3. Configure Pending Options:

    • Pend members for approval?
      • This option allows you to require admin approval for all new members, regardless of payment status.
    • Pend members - accept card info but do not charge (Authorize.net/CIM only):
      • This feature is specific to the Authorize.net/CIM payment gateway. It stores card details without charging the member upfront. When the member is approved, you'll need to manually initiate the charge. (Consult support for further guidance.)
    • Pend unpaid members?
      • This option places only unpaid new members in a pending status for admin approval until payment is received.
